3 wks into cg!

Ok, I'm about 3 wks into cg now and I'm loving it! I posted new pics in my Fokti. They were from yesterday and I was really pleased with how my hair turned out! I had been considering wearing it up until it started to look really good, then changed my mind.

Here's what I did yesterday....

co wash w/Suave Citrus Smoothie, left a little in for leave in. Scrunch out drippies in shower and added HETT gel in shower and combed it through with a wide toothed comb. Added some Aussie MG over it and plopped for about 30 mins or so. Let it air dry some with butterfly clips through the canopy. Got my new bowl diffuser (first time using YAY) and diffused mostly dry using the pixiecurl method (OMG I am loving it!) and then put a little Aussie TNF in to smooth out any frizzies (I'm pretty coarse and frizz easily) Diffused just a little more, sprayed with HESMU spray to stay (I had a ton of parties to go to and it had to stay all day.)

Let me know what you think! I know some of the pics are hard to see, my hair is so dark. Cyndi

Your hair is looking great!

You're my "funky crown" twin . My hair does the same weird thing. I have to clip it while it's drying or take a curling iron to it to get it to behave. Plus, having thin hair up there doesn't help at all! There's a few of us that have that crown thing goin' on!

You're lucky to be able to plop, too. My hair is longer than yours and plopping doesn't work for me .

Glad CG is working for you!

Thanks! LOL on the funky crown thing, I know it's just how my hair grows there, but it's a PAIN! It runs in my family.

Awsome that CG is working so well for you. I'm somewhat modified myself - if I use a new product in my hair, and it feels gunky, I don't hesitate to use shampoo, but otherwise I don't use it at all. I started out as a 2a, but being on CG has made me much wavier, so keep it up and results may be forthcoming! I'm finding I LOVE Re:coil, cause it boosts the wave just a bit, and helps alot with anywhere that's particularly flat, or underneath where it gets weighed down. Lately I've been combining it with Angell and HESMU with great results.
I'd bet that your hair will develop more wave as it grows out, too - I find my hair really starts getting wavy by the time it reaches my ears, but from the ears up stays fairly straight no matter what the length is.

I'm planning on trying the Re:coil myself, as well as some of Jessicurl's stuff. I'm thrilled that this much has already come out, since I've done so much to my hair in the past that I have some damaged areas, notably the top where I have it highlighted. No more of that! I can't wait to see it long and wavy! I'm growing it out right now, wanting it to be pretty long too. Thanks!
