Anyone else out there course/normal/normal?

I'm looking to see what others with the same hair properties are using and I don't want to dig around every single post.

I got the curl junkie sample packs and my hair looked pretty good when I used them. (I can't remember which combo I chose! So many to choose from!)

What are your favs curlies?

ahh I just got my curl wizard results back yesterday and was trying to find other people with my hair properties too! I am coarse/normal/normal!

I wish I had product advice for you! I have been using some stuff from Curl Junkie but I'm still not 100% happy. The best combo I've found is Curl Rehab as a rinseout AND as a leave-in, followed by two or three half-dollars of CIAB scrunched in, then a few peas of a hard hold gel (Got2Be Spiked Up). I really need the Curl Rehab or I don't have enough moisture. It's gotten a little better since I stopped using anything with protein, but I still have a ways to go.

I still don't know if I like CJ Daily Fix. I only got one use out the sample. I don't know if I want to buy it after only one use.
Yesterday I used DevaCurl No poo with CJ strengthening conditioner, CJ coffee-coco curl creme- lite, a little curls in a bottle (what i had left in the sample) and a little aloe fix-lite (because I didn't have enough curls in a bottle).
I LOVE the way these products smell. My hair looked pretty good.
My hair is wavier/curlier now then when I first started doing CG.
I need to make a decision about some kind of conditinoing cleanser type product because I'm almost out of the No-poo. I don't think I want to buy that again.

Yes, your hair looks awesome!! So you must be OK with protein then? I may add some back in once I feel like I'm moisturized enough. I got talked into buying a gigantic bottle of ArcAngell after my first deva cut a few months ago, but it seemed to make my hair straw-like. Still don't know if it was that or some other product though.

What kind of techniques are you using? Did you leave in any conditioner? Put your products in soaking wet hair? Upside down? I'm so excited that I found someone with my hair properties so excuse me if that's too many questions.

I seems like I can handle some protein. I haven't done any kind of protein treatments though and I don't plan on it.

I did put a tiny bit of conditioner in with the curl creme and the gels. I did that when it was soaking wet and upside down while still standing in the shower. Then I used a cloth prefold diaper (I use cloth diapers on my kids so I took a couple for my hair

) and scrunched with that, then I plopped with a microfiber towel that I got in the automotive section at Target. I know LCLF says microfiber is no good, but I started using it before I read that and it doesn't seem to be causing a problem.
I kept the towel on for awhile and then I diffused it a little bit. My hair is still a little wet in the pic. It takes forever to dry.

Can I join in? I'm medium coarse with normal porosity and normal elasticity.

I'm running out if my cheapy conditioner (75p for 750ml) that I use for CO washing. I am debating buying the CJ Daily Fix but can't decide if it's worth it (£14 for 350ml). If I'm happy with what I have why spend so much more? My hair really didn't like Deva NoPoo. After a few uses my hair was dry and tangled.

I am running out of my CJ CIAB and don't think I'll repurchase. I am tempted to try Curl Queen as it has a tad more hold.

Yesterday I got some really pretty beachy waves.
I'm trying to use up my Deva products so that's what I used- No Poo and OneC. Then I used La Bella Super Spikes Gel. I didn't diffuse (it was 94 degrees here yesterday!) and I got soft waves. It definitely gets curlier if I diffuse. I can't decide which I like better. :P

I went ahead and ordered CJDF and Smoothing Conditioner. Hopefully it will get here soon.
