Lowpoo suggestions
I am looking for a good lowpoo to use on an every other day basis. I have 2b/c hair and have to use some type of cleanser on my hair b/c conditioners and some products weigh it down. Right now I use queen helene(only for 2 days), but I was wondering if there are any other products out there that might help me out. I am new to all of this, my curls/waves have been colored and abused for many years and I need to get them healthy again. THANKS!!!!

Here are a few suggestions!
My fav that I've tried is Mop C Hydrating shampoo. My hair always feels really clean but not squeaky like after using it. It's a bit pricey but worth it!
I've tried Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat that you can buy at Walmart/Target but that felt a little stripping to my hair. It did feel good for a bit when my scalp gets itchy in the winter.
Others to try: Curl Junkie shampoo (they also have a cleansing conditioner no poo), Jessicurl (low poo and no poo). Haven't tried either one though.

I like Aubrey Organics Blue Camomile Shampoo. It doesnt leave my hair too dry, nor does it leave it looking oily either.

I'm doing good with DevaCare LowPoo and I use it every other day. But as soon as I am done will try Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat, spent so much on products that I need to finish up some products or start learning how to use them different ways! Learned so much here about drugstore brands and CG products that I can't wait to shop!

Giovanni products are on sale at Whole Foods this week, just to let everyone know. I bought the Tea Tree Triple Treat today for $4.99.

+1 for DevaCare Low Poo. I keep coming back to this one, it works well, and is good price when bought in quart bottle.
I do wash every other or every 3 days.
Wanted to add: this works well for me & other coarse-haired daughter (better than any other Low-Poo that I've tried) but the fine-haired girls did better with Giovanni (which my hair HATED) or Daily Fix no poo, and also did OK with Mastey (another hate for my hair).

I use Kinky Curly Come Clean that you can get at Whole Foods. I know some curlies and wavies have said it is too harsh on their hair however mine loves it. I usually wash and style every day because I for the life of me cannot pull off second day hair. On the days I don't use KCCC I wash with Curl Junkie Daily Fix.
