Haircut tomorrow - thinking about adding LOTS of layers

So...my hair is a 2b/c in the canopy and a 3a underneath. I have a TON of hair, but my shortest layer is well below my chin. I am a big fan of big hair, and am thinking of asking for tons of layers like AnnaLynne McCord's hair. Does anyone have any thoughts? I'm going to a salon that does Deva cuts, and have been CG for a couple months now.

pic one is my hair down - you'll see a few shorter pieces near the front, but nothing other than long layers otherwise..

pic two is with my canopy twisted up, so it's just the bottom layers.

I think it looks very pretty and wavy even in pic one. Make sure the layers aren't too short, so your s-curve (wave shape) isn't disrupted.
Please post after pics. My hair is similar to yours and my hubs would LOVE if I got mine cut.

Thanks guys, I will def post after pics. I will ask my stylist for sure, but I think a lot of times stylists assume that their clients don't want "Big" hair. With as much hair as I have, I feel like I could have so much more body!
Hi! I think your hair looks beautiful! I just got a haircut yesterday and I did more layers vs. the devacut. The stylist told me it wasn't for me, than again I have lots/fine hair so maybe that is why he was honest with me and decided to give me more layers instead of the cut. I appreciated his honesty in not trying to do something to my hair that I was not going to enjoy or go with my face structure...

This was my recent experience, just wanted to share
Once again, love how nice and defined your waves are!

So...here is post layer hair! My stylist did some dry cutting at first, then the color and highlights, then went to town with the layers! I'll have to style it myself tomorrow to see what it looks like when not pulled at and salon styled, but so far...I like!

Okay. What is a Diva cut?
Diva (or Deva) cuts are dry cuts specifically for curly hair - the stylists who do them have been trained by Devachan salon stylists.

Here are the pics of my own styling. This morning I used: Carol's Daughter Monoi hair mask, ArcAngell, and a little Set it Free. I clipped and dried using the Deva-Fuser. Very happy with the volume!
