Default Any microfiber towel users?

Do those of you who use microfiber towels use fabric softener when you dry them?

The reason I ask is that my husband uses microfiber towels all the time for his motorcycle. He washes them separately from the rest of the laundry because he doesn't want fabric softener on them (it creates a film on the paint job).

I guess I am just wondering if the same would hold true for hair use.

TIA

I never put softeners on ANY of our towels period because my Husband personally doesn't like the slipping away feel when getting dry, so my mft never gets softener anyway

Sometimes I do, not always. My curls like us towels tend to just be hung on a drying rack to dry!

I've been using fabric softener on mine and haven't noticed any problems.

Thanks all, for your input. I have washed a couple and used bounce today. We'll see.
I do know that when I folded them, I realized that I need a manicure....my hands seem to stick to them like velcro. Needless to say the long winter here has done a number on my hands.

The curls like us towels specifically say no fabric softener. I just don't use it on any of my hair towels. I don't like hanging them to dry because I dont like the crunch factor they tend to get.

In general, I know towels are more absorbent if you don't use fabric softener, and, of course, softer if you do.

I do use softener on the towels occasionally, maybe every 12th wash or so.

My hair-scrunching shirts go in the regular wash, which gets softener (Suavitel) and they work fine.

I just bought one of these (haven't used it yet). Packaging says it's microfiber but washing instructions don't say anything about fabric softener. I always though you couldn't use fabric softener with these too.
Does this towel make a difference with your hair?
thanks

Yes. I think microfiber makes my hair frizzier. I like flat cotton, like CLU, Curlease or flour sack towels.
