Thanks everyone, what nice compliments. This would be something to try on a day when you need to tie your hair back for some reason, maybe you're working out, or its really windy, going sailing or to the beach, cleaning house, etc. Is this what they call a protective style?
My hair is a little below shoulder length but layered, and curves up to about chin length, and it "almost" long enough to put up in a french twist, almost long enough for a ponytail (The front bits hang down).I think I'll be wearing my hair a lot like this when I want it out of my way.
I spent the day working around the house and it didn't budge, and I didn't fuss with it.
BTW, I didn't use the products the gal in the video did, I just dampened my 2nd day dry hair with water and a little Garnier Fructis Curl shaping Spray Gel.
I did brush it out with a damp Denman brush before setting, and just used my fingers to style it after taking it out.
I would love to see your results if you try this.
