Default My hair fell out - in a dream

Oh my...I am totally losing it! I had another dream about hair, but this time I dreamt (or is it dreamed? - I dunno) that a pony-tail sized clump came out in my hand! YIKES. All this hair discussion is going to my head. lol

Eek! I had a dream like that a while back. WOke up just as terrified as if I'd been chased by a monster!

I think it is because I am obsessing about a "hole" in my hair. When I look at the back of my hair as it hangs on my back, there is a gap in the line of hair just right of center. ARGH! I have been trying to figure out if it is a cowlick at the nape of my neck, funky curly pattern/clumping issue, or if it was just cut wrong. Whatever, it is ...it is driving me nuts! I could just cut the parts that appear to be longer but my hair grows so slow and I have been growing it out so long I want to be sure before I start hacking away.

I hate the hair dreams -- they always turn out to be nightmares! Before I was CG (and before I had any halfway decent waves), I had the most amazing dream that I had long, beautiful CURLS -- and then I had the brilliant idea of cutting my nice curls REALLY short, and they all disappeared, and my hair looked awful, short, and straight. I think I was even crying in the dream, and I woke up crying. I was so glad I had long hair then. I think that's what made me take so long to cut my hair in real life, but I'm so glad I did! It actually curled up WAY nicer than in the dream. SO glad about that!

I have that same annoying hole Had it since I was like 16...it's like my part just extends back too far. I hate it. the only way for me to disguise it is tons of volumizing work...mousse, diffusing upside down...this is why i dont like gel...it smooshes my hair to my head up top and you can see every little piece of my scalp through my hair. well maybe not THAT bad..but bad enough for ME to notice.

I shed a lot of hair so I worry about thinning hair a lot. I have had several dreams where I've noticed a bald spot and am always panicked when I wake up. Not fun lol

Default the offending spot

My husband has made a couple of comments about my hair falling out because of the hair in the shower (got a little lazy about cleaning it up).

And the gap on my hair bugs me to no end. I can't see how the layers are uneven so I am guessing it is the curl pattern. I dunno.

It's not terrible in this pic because I probably shifted it around on purpose. If I don't do anything, it just has an empty gap showing on my back.
