Default Applying Product to DAMP Hair! Huge Difference

am so excited! Yesterday and today I experimented and love the results. After showering, I applied a dime size amount of KCKT in soaking wet hair and combed through.
Then, on drippy hair, I applied SSCEJ and re:coil in sections.
Then I scrunched out most of the excess water with a microfiber towel and Then applied ArcAngel and Set Up an Above to damp hair. Clipped and diffused.
Result: no more stringlets. Yay!

L/I Conditioner: KCKT
Stylers: SSCEJ, Re:Coil, DevaCurl Arc Angel, DevaCurl Set Up and Above
Finishers: DevaCurl Set Up and Above, Ouidad Clear Control Pomade, Ouidad Finishing Mist

I have found that scrunching my gel into damp, not soaking wet hair makes a world of difference for me.

I might have to give this a go again. There was an article on NC.com's wavy hair section to add products to damp hair rather than wet hair like curlies.

Wavechaser your hair looks fantastic! Do you find the KCKT makes a big difference compared to just a plain LI like VO5 or Sauve naturals conditioners? I bought the KCCC but at the higher price I was hesitant to also buy the KCCC

Low Poo - 2chic Avocado & Olive Oil Ultra-Moist Shampoo

RO - Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Cure Care, GVPCB

Stylers - GF Pure Clean Gel, BTZ Noodle Head, LA Looks Sports Gel, Eco Styler Krystal, KCCC (I am a product junkie )

Wash at night, add products, plop in a t-shirt overnight, then diffuse in the morning!! It is great finally getting to sleep in

Thanks so much! I have never tried the Suave Naturals or the V05 but the KCKT definitely works better than DevaCurl B-Leavin, but that might be because KCKT is more of a creamy leave in and B-Leavin is more gel-like.

Your hair looks great. I find my hair does better also when product is put in damp hair. When it is put in wet hair, it seems to get weighed down more.

I put product in damp hair. I've never tried soaking wet bc I always ring/scrunch excess water out of my hair then put it up in a clip b4 I get out of the shower bc I can't stand the feeling of the conditioner on my back
