Default New "Modified CG" Forum?

(Btw, sorry for x-posting -- I was asked to post to a few forums in order to get feedback. )
A note to anyone who follows a modified CG method or is thinking that their hair would be better off modifying the CG method:
NC.com will add a "Modified CG" forum to CurlTalk if there's interest in having a forum specifically for Mod CGers to share modification recommendations, modified routines and products, request help from other Mod CGers, report what part of CG is working/what part isn't working, etc.

Gretchen, et al with nc.com, will gauge interest and take it from there -- So post if you're interested.

I myself try to stay fairly close to CG but am certainly open to modifying the method as needed to benefit my hair, and I know I could learn a lot from others who already have.

I think that's a great idea!!!! Full CG just didn't work for me so it'd be great to talk to others that do more of the "mod" version!!!

I would definitely be interested. My fine, thin hair can't handle CG.

I'm interested! I'm still trying to figure out if I liked my hair better before I was CG or not...

I would be interested also. I tried a new leave-in Suave conditioner and I had the best hair day in months. Guess what? It has dimethicone! Gasp I know, but I am going to continue to use it because I like the results. I will of course cleanse properly when needed.

What makes it "modified"? Using some cones/sulfates?

Sent from my DROIDX using CurlTalk App

Yep. Some people just can't co-wash for various reasons, or really like a certain product with 'cones so they also have to use some sulfates to remove them etc.

Sent from my iPod touch using CurlTalk. Excuse typos!

I'd love one as well. Especially since my hair is needing less and less conditioner.

Agreed...I think wavies are probably the most modified CG-ers, but I can see others with fine hair or weaker patterns maybe being modified as well.

Agreed. I think several wavies on the 2 forum use a sulfate free shampoo on a regular basis, as well.... Like I do =p
