I haven't had any luck, but I know there are some wavies that have; hopefully they will chime in and give some advice.

I've wanted to love EcoStyler but no luck either. There are some wavies who love it though! I believe Pedaheh loves to use EcoStyler in normal dews.

I Used it for about two weeks, but it didnīt have enough hold for me. It also made my hair dry and straight, but this could also be the protein (I need a balance between moisturize and protein, but since al my products have protein I decided to skip this one). So, unfortunately it didn't work for me, but I've read somewhere some wavy's had

I like it alright. It gives me results that are pretty comparable to LALSG, but my hair loves protein so I don't have to worry about overdoing it. However, I have found that I can't use it with everything which is why I will be sticking with my LALSG or BRHG. For instance, I've found it works well with KCCC but I didn't have as much luck using it over AG Recoil. So just know that you might have to experiment a bit with it, but it can work depending on what you pair it with.

Why yes, I do love Ecostyler. It is my summer HG. I do need to top is with BRHG to get enough hold. Ecostyler is a magic clump maker for my hard to clump hair.

It is a very grabby product which is good for creating clumps. I didn't like it due to the protein and glycerin though. It gave me that flash drying feeling which I hate!

I used...I loved it! I only stopped using it when my hair got very long and I needed more volume. I also wanted a more readily avalible product in the uk.
But other than that I had no complaints, worked all year round, was think enough to help weigh down and clump my very very thick hair...sometimes I needed so BRHG for more hold

I use it on second day hair with good results but no luck when using it on wet hair. I think its the glycerin.

For me the trick with Eco Styler was that I have to use it much more sparingly than I use other gels. And a decent amount of LI helps too.

Maybe I should try it. My hair likes grabby products, which helps it curl more on a good day.

I use it
but i've just gone natural & just starting my product search. The lady at Sally's wasn't helpful & was actually a jerk so I just went with something inexpensive until I did more research. After co-conditioning, a LI, and removing excess water i put EcoStyler all over scrunching it up. My hair takes awhile to dry & sometimes I have to scrunch in a bit more to control frizz as it's drying. Also as it's drying I scrunch it a bit to get out the crunchiness. It's been the best thing for my hair so far. There's far less frizz and it's after i scrunch the dried hair it is soft. It's never gotten flaky.
i wouldn't say it's perfect. I don't really like the clumpy gel feeling or the crunchiness but it's only about $5 for a bucket, so it's hard to complain. I'll keep looking though for something with better frizz control and maybe a softer feel.

I mix equal parts water and eco-styler together in a smaller container, and then use that. Once you mix it really well, it still has the goopy texture, but it's not quite as sticky or as heavy.
The full strength stuff weighs my fine hair down horribly, but my hair loves the protein and it will actually clump with this stuff.

I liked it, but discontinued it because of protein issues. It clumped well but the texture took a lot of getting used to. I think it enhanced curls a bit as well, and the clumpage was to die for. I am trying to talk my mom into testing it since her hair loves protein.

Is this the clear crystal gel? If so I have pretty decent luck with it..It's my #2 choice after BRHG.

I like EcoStyler; but as Corrina said, I find I need a good LI under it. I also mix my Eco with CJ Ciab in my hand to thin the texture a bit and I find this helps with the dryness issue I was having with Eco, while still giving me the clumpiness! I also top this with another gel, but unlike the others, I am not a fan of hard hold gels, so I use CJ PP over it.
