detangling dry or wet
I really am interested in this topic and read an article that for some curlies/wavies, detangling before shower on dry hair or spritz/dampen hair is better, because less stretch and less water weight on the hair. Just wondering what you fellow 2's think of this/ I want to try it because I have lots of breakage way high up on my hair shaft, giving me broken shedded hairs with root bulbs but they're short, broken, stretched. Maybe they're so wet, they're stretching and breaking and not handling that. Plus, I wonder for those of you who do detangle in the shower, is it after/during using warm water or cold water, because warm water can make hair follicles more open, thus easier for hairs to slide out of the root?? Just wondering, I"ve heard varied opinions on this!
