Thumbs up Best inexpensive pt and dt?

I want to buy a good protein treatment and deep conditioner because I don't have any at the moment. I know curl junkie is good and I would love to order curl rehab and repair me but it's so expensive Anything good in stores at target or walmart? I don't like making my own treatments so as much as that would save money, I'd rather just have something already made. I'm fairly new to CG so any help would be appreciated! I've been using yes to tomatoes shampoo & conditioner and shea moisture products for styling with KCKT as my leave-in. My hair is very fine so it can get weighed down easy and look greasy. The second day hair hasn't been working for me. So I'm thinking i need a great pt and dt to use because then I could maybe use less styling products. With too much leave-in and curl custards and curl smoothie, my hair gets kinda frizzy which I never really had a problem with before. Any suggestions??

Nature's Gate conditioners are $7-10 for 18 oz. and are great protein conditioners (a little goes a long way). They can be found at whole foods, target, walmart, publix. Also, Aubrey organics GPB, which is about $16 for 11 oz. and can be found at whole foods and I believe Walmart.

Tresemme Naturals nourishing moisture conditioner is a regular conditioner, but it can be used as a moisturizing DT, especially considering you have fine hair. It's about $6 for 25 oz.

Well since I have Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie & Curl & Style Milk that are protein heavy, will those do for a pt? I can't have too many products in my hair because it gets weighed down. My hair has been heat damaged and I haven't been using anything this summer and as it's getting better, it's still not like it was. I used a straightener this year a lot during school - hasn't been for years or anything so I'm hoping I'll get more of my curls back soon. I still notice that theres a section of hair underneath mainly on my left side that are straighter than the rest of my hair. I don't know how to fix this I wonder if I'm putting too much conditioner on my ends? I always thought that was important but my ends just do not match with the rest of my hair.

All-time favorite PT: IAgirl's gelatin PT. I know, it's homemade, but it's awesome and easy, and worth trying at least once.

For DTs: L'Oreal Eversleek line has a great DT, Biolage conditioning balm / GVP CB is great, Shea Moisture has a DT.

I'm mainly just looking for a good protein product than I can buy. I hate making my own stuff - it's too messy. I have Aussie 3 Min Miracle and that works good for a DT. Can I use SM smoothie & style milk as protein treatments?? Those are protein heavy so won't those work?

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply, try Ion Effective Care Treatment for PT. They sell samples of this so you won't have to buy the bottle. When I bought the sample, it was $0.99. I'm not sure of regular price. As for DT, I'm using One N' Only Argan Oil Hydrating Mask. I think it might be on sale for $7.99. I paid $8.99. A little goes a long way. Hope that helps.
