Biosilk rock hard gelee for waves?
I have heard so many rave reviews about Biosilk rock hard gelee, I was wondering if anyone with wavy hair has had success with it? Is it good at forming clumps? What about frizz, I've been having a bit of a hair halo lately?
Thanks again ladies!

I LOVE it as my final scrunch gel. I layer AIF under it with AG re:coil. The hold is so good and easy to SOTC.

I was initially skeptical of BRHG, but it is quickly becoming an HG for me. It didn't do much for me by itself, but now I use it as a final layer over KCCC or As I Am curling jelly. Does a good job of controlling frizz and it scrunches out pretty easily. The jelly products give me clumps and the BRHG gives me hold and frizz control.

I have been wondering about getting it to layer over KCCC, AIA or AnGel......
When you layer, how do you do it? Do you use the jelly, diffuse some, then add BRHG? Or do you use the jelly, scrunch, then immediately use the BRHG?

I layer BRHG, but not over anything that you mentioned. I have done it a few ways. One was was to put on my LI, re:coil, and AIF and then supersoake and do a finale scrunch with BRHG. Today I skipped the supersoak and put it on. Both was seem to work well. I have not used in the second pahse of the SMasters technique, though. I think it is too think/sticky to use on partially dry/ fully dry hair. I prefer to use it on wet hair only.

It's pretty good. Personally, my hair does best with CO-styling, but if I had to use a gel BRHG would be my choice for sure. It's not at all drying, which seems to be rare for a gel.

I apply all products to wet hair while still in the shower. A little dab of KCKT as LI, then the KCCC smoothed over the strands and scrunched to distribute. Then a small bit of BRHG (maybe about a quarter size blob?) smoothed over the strands and scrunch to distribute. I do all this upside down, use the Denman to detangle a bit and form clumps, then blot with a microfiber towel. If I have stringlets, I add more water at the sink and blot/scrunch to reform, then pixie diffuse.
I haven't used BRHG with the Smasters technique, think that might be too sticky.

I thought the same about SMasters technique but I decided to try it over one weekend when I had no where to go. It actually works awesomely! I don't use BRHG yet cause I wanted to use up all my other prods before I get some. While still in the shower and upside down, I use KCKT as a LI, comb trough it all with a fine tooth comb, then I scrunch in KCCC and then do the same with my jelly gel. Then I scrunch out excess water with my plop cloth, follow with a plop for about 15 min and when I take it out I do SMasters technique. When the ends start feeling crunchy, I use HESMU gel and scrunch that in. It also seems to help with volume. I get consistently awesome results when I do this.
I'd love to try it with BRHG as the second application As soon as some of my products run out.

I did the same routine today using AIA jelly instead of the KCCC and got really nice results with this as well. I have a little more surface frizz with the AIA, but still very pleased.
I had tried it with the AIA a couple of times before but used too much BRHG and got a very sticky, plastic-y feeling. It's so dang hard to find the right combos and proportions with all these different products!

I love this stuff. My favorite way to use it is to mix it with a bit of CJ CQ or AIF and then scrunch it in my hair. I, like many others, find it too much to use straight up in my hair.
I can't answer about using it after diffusing since I don't diffuse.

I love either adding BHRG to other gels or jellies for added hold. As far as using it as a final layer when diffusing, I find that if I add a little water to it and thin it out a little, it's not as sticky and got on easier (just a thought).

AIF is Aussie Instant Freeze gel... found at a drugstore near you!
I've never been able to get BRHG to work well for me. Turns my hair into crunchy ramen noodles!

I like BRHG for my waves, definitely good clumps. However I like Spiral Solutions Firm Hold Gel even better, less crunch but still great hold.
