Default bangs/fringe?

any 2s out there have success with bangs? I figure I'm somewhere between a 2b and 2c. I used to have a hair cut where the front was long and it was very short in the back, and I used to straighten the front every single day. I've since grown everything out and haven't straightened in about a year and a half. However, I feel like that bottom six inches or so in the front is just fried from all those years of straightening and I really just want to get bangs and chop that bottom bit off. I also just feel like I want a face silhouette change as it is all the same length currently, and while I like it for the most part, the area around my face is just kind of bleh. not a lot of curl, not a lot of shape.

I'm worried that bangs might foof out a lot, but my hair is pretty fine and not too frizzy anymore...I'm curious to see if anyone has success with bangs (even long ones) without straightening, and if not, any suggestions on how I can change up those few strands around my face?

I have bangs. and i love them. I'll try and dig up a few examples where i've done them. Mine are cut to be blunt bangs, but they are really nice to the side as well. I can blow dry them straight or let them dry naturally to the side.

thank you. & yep. the first one is my hair with some product air dried and the second is my naked hair air dried. The third is pre CG just after getting blunt bangs for the first time. I have to blow dry them ASAP downwards or else i have to actually straiten them. The front of my hair isn't as curly as the back & I have a larger forehead, so bangs are just a good fit for me.
& yes, I have very thick hair lol.

I posted in another "bang" post a few months ago. I have finally gotten my bangs to lay to the side without much effort. I'm attempting to grow my hair out now that I know how to take care of it. :]
My bangs are almost long enough to tuck behind my ear, but not quite.

I have bangs. If they decide to cooperate, I let them hang loosely across my forehead. If they don't, I pin them up. I just scrunch and diffuse them with the rest of my hair.
