Weird Reaction To Malibu HW Shampoo

I used Malibu C Hard Water Shampoo for the first time yesterday. I used TNM as a RO. I have tried ACV (even really diluted) and it leaves my hair snarly and like straw.
My hair yesterday and today has no body and almost no waves at all. It's not from the TNM as I have used this before and it hasn't done this to my hair. This is how my hair would feel whenever I would use conditioners with cones.
I just don't get it? Why would it do this to my hair?

Anyone else have this reaction to using a chelating or mineral removing shampoo?

I sometimes use Sally's hard water shampoo because I have really hard water and don't always wash my hair in the shower (where I have a filter). I also sometimes use Kenra's clarifying or Elucence volume clarifying which seem milder. But whatever I use, I do a stronger moisturizing conditioner or treatment after to balance the drying effect of the cleanser.
