Cheap PT and DT Do you do both ?

Been searching. Do you Do both in the same day or one one week the other the next?

I want to try to see and test what I hair likes.
I seen someone say they like IAgirl's gelatin PT but I cant find this anywhere.
I want something that is cheap cheap that I could do often if this works.

Thyroid Hypo 16yrs (doesnt help the hair)
Hard water (has filter but still doesnt help)
I do have Ev coconut oil at home. I use on my ends here and there. Cant go to heavy cuz it weighs it down.
Some days it feels soft some just really dry so I am not sure what I hair wants to needs right now.

If your hair is prone to being dry, I wouldn't do the protein terribly often...I have just now "recovered" from too much protein. I had very dry hair as a result. A good deep conditioner that works well is the GVP Conditioning Balm.
Many people do about an hour of a PT followed by an hour of a DT.

Here is a thread about PTs and DTs:
A few tips on treatments for newbies and not so newbies too

I know IAgirl removed the link to the PT recipe. Here is the link to the original thread:
PT recipe - as promised

There are probably a few different variations. I'd say look at the first few pages for something close to the original recipe.
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: CJ Beauticurls, CJ A&OO, CJ Smoothing

jellies/creams: Mop C, KCCC, SCE FSG
gels: CJ CQ, BRHG

LOL thx for posting that thread asianrunner, I was just going to do that too!

I am right now sitting with a deep moisture treatment on my head. I did a protein treatment for 10 mins. in the shower today too. I will for the most part do both.
