There's a thread in the 2s forum (I can't post like from my phone). Thread is called "PT Recipe... As Promised". The thread is awesome because a bunch of people also posted some great variations.

yeah. i just threw a bunch of stuff together based on the variations, but the link in the original post is no longer valid. So, there is not the original recipe anymore.

BTW my hair is currently awesome. :) apparently i've been over conditioned.

As best as I can remember the original was just the packet of gelatin, 1/3-1/4 cup boiling water, epsom salts if using heat, citric acid, and honey and/or oil.

I was using Pedaheh's moisturizing version but found that my hair can't get enough protein. So now I use 3 packets of gelatin in about 1/2 cup of water, about 2 tbsp of coconut oil, pinch of citric acid, bit of epsom salts, about 1 tbsp of NPF, about 2 tbsp each of ION Effective Care and CHS pure Silk Protein. I either sit under a heat cap or blow dry like the Aphogee 2 Step. It's a super hard-core PT with multiple types of protein. My hair loves it.

i used about 1/2c water & half a pack of gelatin. then some vinager, olive oil, honey, & conditioner. no real measuring cause i wasn't sure to begin with. also, my hair cut is helping a lot.

Pedaheh's Hair Blog: Science-y Hair Blog Recipes

Pedaheh is graciously playing host to my recipes on her blog, the PT is there.
