I dyed my hair!!! OMBRE STYLE!
I did it....and I even did it myself!!!!
My hair was really healthy. My wave pattern is slightly looser, but not bad. I went from a 2b/2c to a 2b/2a in some parts. The pictures are from RIGHT after doing it. I am going to do a bunch of PT and DT and TLC, and I think my curl pattern is going to come right back.
I used ammiona free bleach and only 10 and 20 developer. I only left it on for about 25min.
I really like it, and I think it turned out great! I feel like I look 10 yrs younger!

I have done some pretty daring things with my hair including cutting it myself and bleaching it several levels in order to dye it hot pink but I would never be brave enough to attempt ombre myself!
It looks fab! Congrats!

I found this YouTube video from the clariol school. She made it SO easy!!!!!
You work your hair in vertical sections. You mix up 2 levels of bleach one with 10 developer one with 20. You take a small vertical section and back comb (tease) the top. The moves hair around to help make sure you don't have a line of bleach. :-). Then you brush on the 10 bleach in mid section, Turing brush vertical at starting point to minimize line. Then u up on the 20 at the bottom blending them together. Really soak the tips so they lighten the most. That was it! It was so easy!

Wanted to update....
My curl pattern completely came back!! It looks great and has actually been CURLIER than before! I was 2b flirting with 2c and the last two times I styled it it was full 2c. :-) I think it looked 2a like after dying b/c of the heavy deep conditioner. Maybe my hair was too smooth and fine and adding the texture helped my curl. Very interesting.
I need to tone it. It has gotten brassier this week. So I will be doing an ashy toner tonight and picking up a red corrector to mix w/ conditioner as well.
