Default Good Detangling Conditioner?

hey all!

I started using the CG method a couple of months ago. The conditioner I use is the Deva Curl One. However I find that it doesn't have much slip to it so it's hard to comb or finger comb through in or out of the shower.

Anyone able to recommend a conditioner and/or leave-in that has better slippage?

Welcome! I've found my favorite conditioners for slip are: CJ Beauticurls Strengthening, Tresemme Naturals, Mill Creek Botanicals Keratin and Kinky Curly Knot Today (LI/Detangler). Most of these (except the TN) are not as moisturizing as the Deva One C. I have the worst time getting lots of protein, moisture and slip in one conditioner.

I have really thick dry hair so it's hard for me to find something with really great slip. So far what works for me is GVP Conditioning Balm (sallys). Tresemme Naturals works ok for me, but I have to leave it in for a while before I attempt to detangle. The other conditioner I love is Garnier Triple Nutrition but it's not CG friendly.
2(I have no idea what pattern), low porosity, mix of medium and coarse, dense

*Have just discovered the amazingness that is the "Spritz and Condish" routine*

Shampoo: SM Moisture Retention Shampoo
Co-wash: VO5 Vanilla Mint Tea Clarifying Conditioner
RO: GVP CB, Garnier Triple Nutrition
LI : Whatever conditioner I used + EVOO or Argon oil
Stylers: Organix Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Creme, EcoStyler Gel (krystal)

I'd also add Yes to Cucumbers. It is pretty slippy.
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: CJ Repair Me, CJ Curl Rehab, CJ Smoothing

leave-in: SCE Curl Cream
jellies/creams: UFD's CM, CJ CCCC, SCE FSG
gels: CJ CQ, BRHG
