I took gardencurls' suggestion and tried a little gel. Instead of putting it in my co-wash, I put a dime-sized amount in my leave-in, mixed together. This was before I used my Aquis towel, so it pulled some of it off, I'm sure. Then I used the 4Naturals Wavy Curl Serum and combed it out.

Got some good curls today, and no frizz. Had one perfect 3a ringlet in front, and even got a little more wave out of the back. It's all deflated now, but I will try it again tomorrow and get some pics.
Averages out at 2b, ranges from 1c to 3a, very fine
Mane 'n Tail co-wash + leave-in
Clarifying shampoo every few weeks
