I know, I know.. but I'm just considering it...I'm so sick of my straight pieces and how every curl acts different...

I cut some deep bangs and I think that helped with most of the straight prices, the rest I think its what I've been using as soon as I go back to my deva products I think my hair will behave better, I think my hair is going through an I hate you stage. I've just been wearing it up so I don't have to deal with it.uploadfromtaptalk1352815369950.jpg

My hair has always had multiple personality disorder. My mom took me to get a perm once to try to get all of it on board the curly train. Honestly, my defiant parts were the first to come bak out and my curly parts just got stronger. It ended up looking great for about a month then I had the same issues as always. Now I just keep a curling iron handy and if something goes particularly straight, I twist it then curl and it fits back in.
Cut in some heavy layers and my curls litterly just boingged right up no more need for a perm.

yay! You'll be glad you didn't, trust me! Perms are like a bad boyfriend - great for the first month, and then you just wish you'd never met them, they're so bad! lol...glad to hear you like your hair again
KellyB likes this.
Finer, mixed with coarser strands, low-porosity, wavy curly whirly hair...3A, 2C hair. Medium thickness, medium elasticity.
S-shaped hair with corkscrew ends. My hair is even more confused than me ;p
My hair officially hates protein Once a month is enough!
Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!
BIG fan of supersoaker method - thanks Rudeechick!

About five years ago when I went in to get my haircut I saw a GUY getting a perm. I was like, "I thought guys stopped doing that in the mid 80s." Oddly enough, I thought about getting one back then but luckily decided against it. However, just for fun my sister put her hot curlers in my hair. The outcome confirmed I made the right decision.
