I've been growing my hair out and during the process have mostly kept it up (easier for my work too). Now I'm getting re-aquainted with my long wavy hair after having it short for many years.

I recently took a pic of it just air dried after using Shea Moisture Curl & Shine shampoo and conditioner. I used no other products before letting it completely air dry and then taking the pic.

What are your thoughts on my hair type? I'm thinking 2b, but with just a little leave in conditioner and a diffuser it gets really curly with nice spirals.

Gorgeous hair! I am guessing 2B, with 2C/3A potential...? It is possible to have a few different hair types mixed together...I am primarily 3A, but I have one clump (only one! lol!) that is almost 4A....

Finer, mixed with coarser strands, low-porosity, wavy curly whirly hair...3A, 2C hair. Medium thickness, medium elasticity.
S-shaped hair with corkscrew ends. My hair is even more confused than me ;p
My hair officially hates protein Once a month is enough!
Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!

Fabulous 2b! Your hair is very similar in pattern to my hair twin, Kimmidawn (who also has fabulous hair).

Thanks ladies! I was thinking 2b when in its natural state, but with some product and diffuser it can look more 2c/3a.
