My wavy hair has been very dry lately?

I have very thick 2b/2c wavy hair and lately its felt really dry.(over the past month) For conditioning I use nature's gate jojoba conditioner, and V05 shea cashmere. The V05 makes my hair really easy to comb through. I use Nature's gate sulfate free aloe vera shampoo and I love it, it doesn't make my hair dry. I really want a product thats like Aveda's dry remedy, but I can't use it anymore because it has dimethicone....I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone know of a very moisturizing conditioner?Without silicones? Am I doing something wrong? Please help:/

Are you in a cold climate? It's probably just the dry air in the winter time. There are so many moisturizing conditioners I can't name just one. Maybe try Cure Care from Sally's. That stuff is so moisturizing I almost can't use it.

I live in Texas and its pretty humid here. For the past week it's been in the 60's. But it was kind of dry before then.

I was in San Antonio at the end of last month and I found it drier than the east coast which is unusual I guess. It could that your hair isn't used to the low dew points. You can monitor your dew points to test this theory.

You probably just need a more moisturizing conditioner. If you want to go cheap, check out Yes to Cucumbers/Carrots or GVP conditioning balm.
