mayonaise and honey?

hey everyone,
well about a week ago i tried a mayonaise and honey treatment thingy( i just mader it myself), pretty simple really about equal parts of mayonaise and honey and then some oil( i used either olive oil or morrocan oil). Anyway my hair is nice and shiny and bouncy, i wondered what you think made my hair react this way..was it the protein?( altho i tried some coconut milk and my hair was gross, frizzy and limp) so i thought it didnt like protein..but now it like the mayonaise and honey..maybe its the moisture? i dont know.
ive kinda been addicted to finding out what my hair likes- but then im scared im doing too much haha..so confusing.

Some hair likes just certain proteins. Glad it worked well for you! :)

There are loads of very experienced curlies who will come in and answer, I hope! All I can tell you is that your hair may not react the same way to one protein as it does to another type of protein...and I have noted many people here seem to have issues with coconut protein.

I'm pretty sure if your hair needed protein and oils, and you gave it some, that would be what caused it to be happy and bouncy :) and sadly, experimenting is the only way to find out what your hair likes! lol...:geek:
