Barely There Waves, anyone?

Do any of y'all have trouble getting that barely there waves look? How bout beachy waves? I tried the other day for beachy wave look...it was less curly but not "beachy". Any tips?

If I apply a curl cream like recoil, comb it through and scrunch once, and don't apply gel, then air dry, I get VERY loose wave. Might be what you're looking for. What wave pattern do you normally have? I'm about a 2b.

haha I think my natural waves are fairly close to that description!

Otherwise, I'd recommend combing/raking through a medium hold gel or soft curl cream and then lightly scrunching.
