Questions about showering at night/styling?

I'm a 2c, and I take my showers at night. I want to be able to do my hair care routine before bed. I've been letting my hair dry in my sleep and just taking out my curling iron in the morning. Now that I'm taking better care of my waves, I want to cleanse and condition my hair in the shower, put in my gel, and somehow wake up with decent-looking hair. Even if I have to spray some water on my hair in the morning, how can I get away with styling my hair at night so that it still looks good during the day?
I also (devacurl) wash and style at night but never sleep on wet hair. I twist super wet hair upside-down into ten sections. Scrunch in gel and then never touch or manipulate my hair with hands after this. Squeeze water out with tshirt. Then plop for ten minutes and then diffuse or air dry. Once completely completely dry, I put my hair in a bun (even if crunchy from gel) on top of my head and sleep. Then I shake it out in the morning and put a tiny amount of pomade on around scalp for root lift. I get a lot of bounce.

I'm in between 2b and c, I think.
I diffuse and then do a ponytail on the top of my head (pineapple) too. It's the main reason I decided to grow my hair out!
I put all my products in and then plop my wet hair over night. It doesn't dry all the way so I usually diffuse a bit in the morning.
Hair: 2b/2c, normal porosity, medium texture, medium density, good elasticity

Co-wash: Tresseme naturals
Condish: TS
Gel: FSG

2ND day:
Spritz with Lavender, add FSG or AVG.
I wash my hair before bed and pineapple it over night. It's still damp when I take it down in the morning but I usually spritz it with a little more water and then put in my product, scrunch and go.

Do you guys air dry a bit before going to bed? How wet is your hair? Maybe I don't need to diffuse after all!
I get out of the shower, blot my hair a bit with a microfiber towel and put in straight up into a pineapple. This way my hair will still be damp in the morning. I'm lazy and want to spend the least amount of time doing my hair possible. I haven't used my diffuser in about a month. I'm just letting it air dry in the morning.

I usually shower at night, and I plop for about half an hour before taking my hair down and sleeping with damp hair. My hair isn't long enough anymore to pineapple, so I sleep with it down.

In the morning, I turn my head upside down and spray it with water and scrunch. I also twist any little sections of curl that didn't stay defined and then use hairspray for hold and definition. When I diffuse my hair on the rare mornings when I get to shower, I use a curl definer, but it doesn't work so after I sleep on damp hair.

G'luck!

I'm a hair minimalist: the less time I spend on my hair, the better.
