My hair is, dried right after a shower with no combing or brushing, 2b, with a few actual curls in the under layers. When brushed, it looks 2a. In florida, it was anywhere from 2b to 3a, depending on the weather daily. No matter which it was, my hair was dry, lifeless, rough, and frizzy. It still is. So, for all you wavies with hair full of moisture, what is your favorite conditoner (daily, deep, etc.) Without silicones please! I have recently started using products with no sulfates and no silicones. Thanks!

My hair is very coarse and very dry. I've been trying different conditioners every few weeks since I went CG. I really like the one I'm using rn, GVP conditioning balm. It's really cheap and was recommended by a quite a few users here. It's available at Sally's but if they don't have a brick and mortar store near you, you can also get it on the Sally's site.

Are your strands fine or coarse? If they're very thin and not too visible when held in the light or against a piece of paper, you need more protein. However I am going to guess your hair needs moisture. I'd recommend Tresseme Narurals moisturizing conditioner or Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose. I'd use a little of the Tresseme as a leave-in and add a little bit of gel to sopping wet hair.
