My hair is dry, and my 2b curls are always brushed into 2a. I wouldn't brush them, but the girls at my school make fun if me when my hair isn't brushed thouroughly. I want to make my waves seem more like curls, and at the same time keep them healthy and moisturized. I use sulfate-free shampoo and silicone free conditioner. What can I do to enhance the curls and make my hair better in general?

Leave-in conditioners work well for moisturizing (you can just use a little bit of your rinse out conditioner). Hard hold gels also work for enhancing waves.

And girls can be so mean sometimes.

You could use a curl enhancer, but leave-in and gel will be your friends! You could also diffuse so your hair dries faster.
