to comb or not to comb
hello i have 2a/b hair and i never liked to comb my hair when air drying bc i thought my waves would lose defination.....has anyone done both and which way is better for you? i plan on combing today, at which point in to drying process should i do this or wait untill completly dry?

Yeah, if I comb while wet my waves almost disappear (I say almost--the ends flip out no matter what!). I'm a 2b like you.
Now I only comb while soaking wet and producty, then scrunch like crazy. Usually, though, now that mine's shorter, I don't even need to comb. It pretty-much looks the same either way. |
I only comb in the shower with conditioner in my hair. If I comb while drying, I lose wave and if I comb after it's dry, I frizz out.

Like Jakrussel I can only comb while in the shower with conditioner in my hair. If I run my fingers through my hair after I'm out of the shower I get more volume but less "curl". I love the volume but second day hair is almost doesn't exist. I would love to find a happy medium!

I always comb. My hair is really long and tangles easily. I think as long as I don't comb after adding product and scrunching my hair does okay. I also always air dry.
