I've been reading that flax seed gel is really good stuff!

How do I make it? And how long does it last?
How do You apply it?

Ok.....found some videos and instructions. Interesting!!
My question is. If you have used this, how do you like it. What does it do for your hair. (help with curls....or what kind of hold does it provide)???

It is the best hair gel that I've ever used! FSG is completely natural and water soluble (cg), plus it gives amazing shine and calms frizz w/out being sticky or crunchy, promotes clumping too.
A few tips:
-store in a color applicator bottle, this make applying a breeze and store in fridge. FSG freezes & defrosts perfectly.
-apply over a Leave In (it plays well w/Kinkycurly Knot Today)
-always apply to wet hair and use a heavy handed approach, you'll just scrunch the excess out.
-it is a more "soft" hold so you may want to put another styler over it for a cast (I really recc. KC Spiral Spritz).
-air dry or diffuse (whichever works).
-remember the amount that works for you will vary & there are infinite ways to customize the recipe for your hair needs....I think that's everything :-)

I'm read some essential oils. Or aloe vera gel, or even honey.
Can you just leave it plain??

I do have Lavender essential oils.

Oh I like yours:-) I just added the same oils Fran did and added orange essential oil. Adding the castor oil really thickened up the gel
