Shea Moisture
Does anyone have any opinions on these products? The Curl Shampoo has good reviews on here but I'm wondering if it is a good fit for my hair.
I'm having a hard time finding a balance that I like but I know it is trial and error.
If you have any other product recommendations I would love to hear them!
Thank you!

I absolutely adore their shea reconstructive elixir. I mix some with my conditioner to turn it into a 'deep' conditioner so I don't have a ton of bottles hanging around in the shower. It's really helped the ends of my hair not be as dry and has even helped the shine. Overall, I'm really happy. I haven't tried any of their other products though.

I'm not sure if you're only asking about shampoos(?). Within the last few weeks there have been threads dedicated to the smoothie and soufflé and another comparing the conditioners. I would recommend looking those up.
As for the shampoos, I personally prefer the raw shea reconstructing one over the curly. There is something in the curly one that leaves a slick feeling that is difficult to rinse out. The Raw one also just got a Best Product award here. If you buy them at target or Sally's you can return what you don't like, no questions asked.
I also 'think' I'm all medium.

I use the raw shea butter moisture retention shampoo twice a week as a low poo and I really like it. My hair always looks great/has a ton of volume the day I use it. I also don't find it to be too stripping and it makes my hair really shiny. The only thing I dislike about it is the smell... it's very intense and seems to linger in my hair for a while.
I just used the raw shea butter restorative conditioner for the first time today. I mixed it with a little honey and used it as a deep treatment, and I really, really liked it. I haven't SCOTC yet, but I think I'm going to have a pretty awesome hair day!!

I've tried a few of their products both the curl line and the restoration line. Both shampoos I love I started off using moisture retention shampoo and it made my hair feel soft not a fan of the restorative conditioner. I bought it twice and still have some that I mix with water for a mist on 2nd day hair. I now use the curl shampoo I love the smell and since I shampoo once a week it really last. Worth the price I got it for (8 and some change at Walgreens). I also use the smoothie to seal again smells great and in my opinion it does help your hair curl but you still need gel or mousse over it. I didn't use it last time and I noticed the difference. It will really last cause you don't need that much. Has anyone tried the SM mousse???

I've been looking for the mousse but no luck here yet.
My loves:
Moisture Retention shampoo
Curl & Shine shampoo
Curl & style milk
Curl Enhancing Smoothie
I'm still testing the curling souffle and really liking it so far, it may replace my LOOB step. I haven't had much luck with their conditioners but haven't come across the new one yet. I couldn't stomach the smell of the Yucca & Baobab (green label) line. The AB line (black label) didn't do much for me. The masques were ok but I can do better mixing on my own.

Do like I did and find a city where you have a friend or family and ask them to send what you want to you.

I've been loving the whole Curl line. I've tried everything except the curl n'shine spray. Will be purchasing the next time I go to walgreens.
I always come back to shea moisture.

I very well may do that once I've checked all the Targets & Walgreens here. My sister is usually happy to oblige in my strange requests.

Thank you for all of the info! I bought the yellow label shampoo and conditioner and am going to try it out tomorrow. Sure was hard to find, probably because it is on sale everywhere.
Just wanted to say thank you!
