Default More volume

So I know a lot of people talk about scrunching in products in soaking wet hair. I always find when I do that my hair is flat and waves are much less defined. Today I scrunched out water after adding a little olive oil to my ends, kept scrunching out water, scrunched in recoil, plopped with a t-shirt for 10 minutes. Took the plop out added some (not much) rock hard gelee, let air dry. Then scrunched out the little bit of crunch with JCNS and sprayed with curly sexy mousse over top. Nice volume and waves. I have tried and tried with soaking wet hair and am always disappointed. Just thought I'd share for anyone who is finding it unsuccessful for them too.
