My hair parts in the middle-ish. I have a cowlick in the front that is slightly to the left of middle in the front. I also have multiple cowlick's in the crown area on top of my head so I have to be careful to smooth those out a bit while my hair dries. Thank goodness my hair is curly because it's really difficult to smooth out those cowlick's when I want to. I don't ever part my hair purposefully, I just scrunch and let it fall where it wants to. If I try to form a part myself, it just looks contrived. It's taken me lots of practice and lots of failing to finally let it do it's own thing. As your hair adjusts and gets healthier, I would think it would fill in more and not be so noticeable in the back. I'm sure my hair looks a mess when people who are taller than myself look down on it, but that's life. Lol!
