Default Swimming and protecting hair?

Any of you guys swim and how do you protect your hair while swimming? Do you shampoo your hair after you swim?

I just rinse with water first, really saturate it, then slather on conditioner, then rinse when I get out of the pool. I usually wash that night.

I used to put some oil in my hair, then braid it. I'd always wash my hair after with a low poo.

Add NPF to my my hair after I wash and LOVE gelatin protein treatment!

My hair loves protein, plopping, and diffusing! Trying to find a way to style and air dry.
