Default Need more protein

My hair has been driving me crazy! It's been limp and drabby. I thought I needed a sulphate wash so I did one, but it made little difference. I've been giving myself 10 minute protein treatments twice a week, but I guess that wasn't enough. Finally last night I did a 40 minute treatment and my hair was awesome. I also scrunched some in as my leave in and let air dry with no product and I was so happy with my hair! So, I guess I just need more protein. If anyone could recommend a light leave in with protein, and a heavier protein treatment (clearly joico isn't enough) I would totally appreciate it.

My hair loves protein, plopping, and diffusing! Trying to find a way to style and air dry.

My hair can't get enough protein. A few of my favorites:
Rinse outs (can also use as LI)- ION Effective Care (at Sally's), Regis Olive Oil (Regis salons, including the ones in Walmart)
Leave-ins: Cure Care (at Sally's)
Protein Treatment: I use IAGirl's gelatin PT, with an extra protein boost (3 packets of gelatin instead of 1, 3 different high protein conditioners, plus the other regular ingredients, either under heat for 40 minutes or blow drier method). Another option is Aphogee 2 step- it's the same type of protein as the gelatin treatment, minus the mixing, but it does have a pretty strong odor, which is why many of us started using gelatin instead.
