Default KCCC questions...

Is KCCC a gel or curl enhancer? How does it compare to AG recoil? Do any 2As have luck with it?

Not really sure what your hair is like, mine is in my sig.

I would call KCCC a curl enhancer. It doesn't provide the hold of a gel. It's a jelly. I personally apply it in the shower after rinsing out my conditioner, get it all worked into my hair, and then do a quick upside-down cool rinse to get clumps going.

So for me it is like a leave-in/enhancer. I love it for my hair.

I haven't tried AG Recoil.

I use it in the shower like that too. It helps with clumps but not so much with hold. I've never used AG Recoil though.

My hair LOVES recoil and HATES kccc. That said, my hair also LOVES As I Am Curling Jelly, found at Sally's. It is similar to kccc in that it's a jelly, but the ingredients are different. After I get out of the shower, I apply recoil and then AIA CJ. Then I pixie diffuse until mostly dry. Then SOTC for what little crunch there is. This results in really soft hair with good waves for me. My waves last 3 days as long as I pineapple my hair at night. This is my springtime routine. Once summer hits, I'll also use Curl Keeper before applying the recoil when the dews are really high.

for me it works as a gel. Tons of hold, have to scrunch when dry.

It's a gel for me too. Ag recoil makes my hair curl more easily, but gives no frizz control. i also hate how it smells. KCCC makes my hair very hard and crunchy, so I have to scrunch a lot after it dries. However, it really does reduce my frizz, which is a huge issue with me since I have fine hair. I use it alone because everything weighs my hair down. Here's a pic with just KCCC
