Smile That Shea Moisture product with the long name!

I just tried Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus milk (I THINK that's its name!) and I was a little hesitant because I thought it might be too heavy but I saw that Wavydaze liked it and thought I'd try it. I have to say that my curls and waves look healthy and my canopy frizz and crispy hair pieces look better! I used a dime sized amount on soaking wet hair and scrunched it in. It looked weighed down so I panicked and put gel on the crown of my hair. When it dried it looked nice and curly with minimal canopy frizz. I don't think I need that gel! This very well could be something I use on a regular basis. I want to put moisture back into my damaged areas because I know that is what is causing my frizz. At least I know that in using this stuff I'm putting some moisturizing ingredients into my har. Thanks, Wavydaze!

I also love the sm curl enhancing line as we. What I love most it that it will rinse right out. No build up.

I have used SM products, and it is hit and miss for me. However Target will accept returns on items even after opening and use. I tried the conditioner from the Raw line and hated it. I had my receipt and exchanged it for something else.

I have no used the Coconut Hibiscus Conditioner yet, but I love the spray for second day hair and I really like the Green Line shampoo and Anti-breakage Masque. I'm pretty oil sensitive and I've had no problems with looking like a grease bucket.

I have tried several things from the line so far, and I like everything! I've used the Moisture Retention Shampoo and Conditioner, Finishing Elixir, Yucca Thickening Milk Leave-In, and the Coconut/Hibiscus curl enchancing smoothie. The quality to price ratio is pretty great. I've been meaning to try that milk, though... glad it worked out for you!

I agree, though, that the products are very concentrated, especially if you're a wavy and prone to being weighed down. I guess on 3c hair and beyond it might be more forgiving because they generally need more moisture. I think with a sparing hand you can make any of the products work well if it suits your hair's characteristics. I wish more people would check out their stuff, it seems quite popular for women with coils as it is marketed that way, but it really is for everyone.

I love the Shea moisture curl enhancing shampoo as well. It works wonders for my 3c/4a curls & coils. It smells heavenly & moisturizes my hair after my other shampoo dries my hair out a little bit.

Have you guys tried that cowash. Sweet baby jesus!!! That stuff is to die for! I love SM but I hate how some of their products can be hit or miss. I swear if they ever stop I may just... I don't know.

Still using SM and still like it! I have some in a little bottle in my purse to smooth frizz during the day and I smooth it over my hair every morning. I have overloaded on it so I know I need a light hand with it.
