advice for dull hair

Hey,
I am pretty new to all of these. have been reading stuff on here for a couple of months. It is very useful but also very overwhelming

My hair tends to be dull and somewhat stringy.I was wondering if any other 2s have advice for adding shine and encouraging clumping.

Welcome! What are your hair properties, dew points and full routine?

My hair is low porosity, high density, and medium width.
I do not really understand dew points yet.

I do not have a full routine yet because I am still experimenting but lately I have mostly been co washing using loreal evercurl conditioner every third day or so i shampoo. next I use a small amount of the evercurl shine and detangler then garnier fructis curl shaping spray gel and plop for around 15 minutes.

Your full current routine with products would be fine, which shampoo and any deep treatments? Are you following all the basic CG techniques? There is an app/ frizz forecast on the main NC site for dew points, that is critical to know - I don't fully understand it either but I can use the information!

thanks frizz forecast will be so helpful!!

I have been using the evercurl shampoo but I do not think I like it and am going to switch. I use the evercurl leave in conditioner occasionally but i feel that I get a lot of product build up from it and so I think i might need to find a lighter leave in. I bought the whole evercurl line but I am only really fond of the conditioner
