wavy or straight

I cannot offer much of an advice since I am in the same boat. And no, my hair is not short... is quite long at this point (almost BSL)

There are days were I just can't deal with it and get super frustrated and put it up on a braid; and just refuse to continue with this idea of maybe being a wavy.

Anyway, I am subscribing to see if I can get some light ....

Good luck with your journey
If you don't know whether to go wavy or straight you might find the Tangle Teezer gives you a look you like.

It's super gentle and if I use it on my wavy/curly/naturally messy hair when it is dry it pulls out all my curl and makes it smooth and nearly straight. I don't like that effect on my very fine hair because I lose all my volume, but you might.

If I use it on wet hair and then scrunch and do everything I normally do to get it curly, I get much less fluff and a 'tidier', more even look - my hair grows in a very lopsided way and the TT seems to disguise that.

There are You Tube videos showing before and after usage, which might help you decide what it would do to your hair. It certainly makes it feel softer and smoother but it also changes the look of the hair, and that may be great or terrible, depending on what you want.
