FSG. Yes those Deva products are nice. You might also need to leave in some conditioner. Have you see Waterlily's cowash videos? It gives you a good idea of how much she conditions her hair. But ultimately the waives I k ow who frizz get great results with flax seed gel. You can make it right at home.

And look up Waterlily716 "co-wash" on YouTube.
2a medium porous, You can see my wavy tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...ZNxhBHSXAW40OQ and my wavy blog is The Wavy Nation http://wavynation.wordpress.com

Beneficial ingredients for porous or damaged hair include coconut oil, hydrolysed protein, ceramides, 18-MEA and panthenol. You might consider styling with film formers like flaxseed gel or okra gel, limit or avoid the major humectants like glycerin, honey, propylene glycol and possible aloe vera. One Condition is absolutely loaded with glycerin IIRC.

Have you clarified and chelated lately?

We have similar properties- check out the products I use in my signature. I know a lot of people have polyquat issues, but I really really like the Bioterra cream and gel and get the least amount of frizz when I use them. I also like that I can get them at Sally's! Pixie diffusing really helps me, too. I use Yes To Carrots and Cucumbers, love both!

Modified CG since November 2012- finally found what works!
One of the most useful places to start learning what will work best for your hair is to figure out what your hair's particular properties are, porosity & texture primarily. Here's a link to a website that can help you figure this out.Live Curly Live Free | the naturally curly hair experts

(You used "fros" to say your hair got frizzy. I'm sure you didn't mean any harm but referring to Afros in this way can be hurtful. All hair textures are beautiful! )
Medium Texture/Normal Porosity

Gels: CJ Pattern Pusha, CJ Curl Queen, UFDCM, Mop Top Curly Custard, KCCC (wish it didn't take so long to dry!), CJ Aloe Fix Lite
Weekly PT (CJ Repair Me) & DT
Icequeen method
CG since Aug. 08, still a lot to learn
