Trouble with Porosity

I'm having some difficulty coming to a confident decision about my porosity. I had decided on low porosity based upon a float test, but having read up on the float test, I don't feel it's accurate. I've also heard about the sliding your fingers up a strand of hair, but that doesn't help me much. As for dry time, I don't really feel one way or another about that either. If I put my hair in curlers overnight, though, they'll usually be ever so slightly damp in the morning.
I also remember, as a child, that my parents had to use a lot of shampoo on my head to get it to foam up. I had an oily scalp that just sucked up the shampoo. Maybe an indication of porosity?

Fingers test is not reliable either you could be feeling kinks or build up. Hair behaviour is better: how easily your hair wets and dries (nekkid of products), how it responds to penetrating oils, is it chemical treated or heat damaged.

2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG. Past bra strap length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
Experimenting with: benign neglect
Tested some of this stuff out yesterday:
Wetting: took about 25 seconds in the shower to get it wet enough to low-poo (my shower head runs about average pressure)
Drying: Scrunched with a microfiber towel for about 90 seconds, then plopped for 15-20 minutes. Hair was about 90% dry when I went to bed 1 1/2hrs later, and bone dry 7 hours after that when I woke up.
Chemicals: never been chemically treated (dyes, straightening, etc)
Heat: Occasionally used. Probably 5-10 times a year. More since I've started diffusing (on warm) more.
Brushing: before CG, usually got brushed once a day when I put it up.

Weather for last night's drying test:
Temp: 82 F
Dew Point: 73 F
Relative Humidity: 74%

What are your thoughts? Is 1 1/2hrs normal drying time for average width, average density hair?
As a side note, has anyone ever looked at their hair under a microscope to discover porosity? I did some Internet searching on the type of microscope needed, but was just curious about you all...
