Default Am I supposed to put a LI near my roots?

I have slightly wavy hair and currently I smooth and scrunch a LI just on my length and ends. Should I work it into my scalp too?

Not on your scalp, near your roots depends if your hair needs it. Some find it weighs the hair down or makes the hair look dirty, some find it helps control frizz or aid clumping.

I go fairly close by scrunch'n'pump-ing the water and conditioner blend with my head upside down, I find that really helps with root wave and frizz control. But bear in mind my hair is colour treated and has reasonable natural body/ volume.

I know Chupie doesn't go particularly close, her videos are on YouTube.

Okey dokey, I can get weighed down quite easily so I'll just stick with using it on my length
