I've done pre-poos with coconut oil and deep conditioned with avocado.
I do think my hair is healthier looking that a few weeks ago (when it trult felt damaged by Loreal's Evercurl). I'm not sure what product is the "opposite" of that one, lol, but that's probably magical info for me if I found it! But I wonder if that's a contributing factor?
It's been 10 days (might as well say 11) since my last "shampoo." I've cowashed with the Suave naturals. I'd really like to wash right now, lol, but I cowashed last night (after a coconut oil/olive oil/peppermint oil treatment), so I'm going to try to make it another day.... Maybe wash with the sulfate-free shampoo and add a pinch of baking soda in case build up is causing issues?
I'm going to aim for a "kitchen" protein treatment tomorrow. We've got gobs of snow and I've no intention of venturing farther than the corner grocery.... I have olive oil and coconut oil and yogurt and bananas in the house. Coffee and eggs.... What to "whip up?"
I've been curious about the Shea Moisture Yucca deep treatments, too.
