Default Coconut Oil

Where do you get the coconut oil for your hair? I can't seem to find it at the store. Is there a particular brand you like? Thanks.

I use the spectrum brand I get at Rosauers in the Huckleberries section; do you have a Whole Foods or "crunchy' store anywhere close by?

You can order it from Tropical Traditions.com...I use the refined stuff on my hair and skin bc the coconut smell bugs DH; the unrefined is way, way WAY yummy in cooking (fry some potatoes in it-heavenly!)

In case you wanted cooking suggestions too...

you can also get refined coconut oil at walmart with the cooking oils. It's in a big white tub for about $3. It doesen't smell all nice and coconutty though.

Weeklyish shampoo with CO's inbetween to keep down the grease.

Also do a search for Indian Food Marts. You should find the best 100% coconut oil there. Sold in gallon containers. But hey, go for it!
