Great! I hope you have a satin pillow case...
Is there a specific way to apply the gel? I can totally say I have waves, some people has speculated that I might be a 2b ...

I got the LA blue gel and used it a couple of times ... but my hair gets super stringy (maybe too much product) the first day... If I don't use any product, you can see some waves, but they don't last and become super frizzy.

The second time I used it, it left a white residue....

I must be doing something wrong....

I recently tried the LA looks yellow gel (which has a lighter hold), with a little bit of curl keeper underneath it. It dries a little crunchy, but I don't have a problem scrunching out the crunch, and it works beautifully! Consider trying a lighter hold gel that will be less heavy on your hair.

At the moment, I am mixing the blue gel with AVG and the results are better... but I still haven't found the perfect combination to it to attain hold and less frizz

Thanks for the recommendation

I like the Nutra Curl gel. I think I will try their other gels once I start running low on my bottle!
