Hey guys! I was searching the interwebs for an easy way to style your hair the night before something you had something special to do. I was looking partially due to the fact I have an appointment for my senior pictures in a few weeks. Anyways, I'm sure all of us have had those days where we wake up and our second day hair isn't looking its greatest or we don't have time to shower (namely days where I have to wake up at 6:30 and be at school by 7:15).

Anyways, I came across this interesting video on YouTube. It's a way to get "heatless waves" overnight. Basically, you take a shower and wait until your hair's damp (or just dampen your hair by spritzing it like I did). Then you make two french rope braids (one on each side) until you run out of scalp, in which then it becomes just a rope braid or a simple rolling of your hair into a big spiral. I'm bad at descriptions, so here's the link! My Everyday Hair: Heatless Wavy Hair - YouTube

I'd advise against trying this method prior to an important event unless you KNOW it works on your hair type. I'd also advise against doing this on SUPER WET hair! I did something similar to this with wet hair and I came out looking like a fluffball with tons of frizz to boot!

I guess this could work for both 2's and 3's, but I posted it under 2's because I'm a 2. Wavies/curlies, let me know if any of you decide to try this and if it works for you!
I thought I'd post to see if it works for people that don't have straight hair. I'm trying it right now and I look pretty ridiculous, LOL. I'm crossing my fingers that this is an easy way to do my hair right before I go to bed the night before I have school. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm lazy, but who wants to spend 30 minutes doing their hair just to impress people we don't know or like? LOL.
