drug store sally gel

I need some recs for a gel from target/walmart/walgreens...im cg since Sunday. ...the stuff I bought is a gel stuff an its not right....am my hair is still batttling crazy frizz. Gels tend to work for me..I just want one thats cg friendly...my go to before I switched was tresemme flawless curls mousse extra hold but I dont think its very cg friendly...I like crunch that can be scrunched loose

Im an 2c 3a med porosity med density that the crow straightens out if I dont get everything just right

Do you have a Sally's? Volumax is good. They have discontinued the Mega, sadly, but there may still be some. Also their 3 hold isn't bad.

Eco Styler gels work well but there are many kinds. You have to experiment.

Lots of people like Aussie Instant Freeze. Too sticky for me.

Also highly liked are the LA Looks gels. Especially Sports Extreme.

But your frizz may also depend highly on what else you are using and your technique, how you are doing it.

Ive always been a big time frizz'er. Doesnt help that I live in the epitome of bipolar weather state.

Right now im using renpure argan conditioner. And shea moisture souffle gel. I bought tresemme naturals cond last night to try. Trying to stay cheaper as not to give hubby a heart attack
You def need to try a gel. I'd at least pick up some la looks and try it.

The gel I sware by is the garnier fructis pure clean gel. It is amazing! It feels a tad slimy when you put it in but once it dries...beautiful soft defined curls! It's cheap as well as far as I know it's cg approved? It claims to be 98% naturally derived.

I swear I never see that gel anywhere and a lot of people seem to like it.

I get it at Target...

I especially like it topped with AIF, for some reason I get better results that way. Takes a while to dry in my hair though, due to all the glycerin I would bet. Only in normal dew points for me!
Smorgasbord of finer, porous 2a-3a; straight underlayer

collagen
humectants outside of optimal dews, PVP, oils/butters, anything remotely comedogenic

poos: Giovanni TTT, WF365FF, Suave Clarifying
condishes: VO5 VMT, KLS; IonEC
stylers: FSG, 4NSBCC, VolumaxMega, AIF, GFPC

Mod CG since 11/2012. My waves occasionally look best when combed out, so you can pry my combs from my cold, dead hands
