Oh darn. I already saw your pics on the general board. Hair typing is not my thing; but, as a complete guess I woud say you have it right, 2b/3a. I love it! Your hair is beautiful

Aw girls, thank you so much for the wonderful compliments . I'll have to come back and read these when I have a day when I'm ready to get out the blow dryer and a brush .

Kimberly, I'm glad you think I am what I think I am :P .

I sure wish that camera wouldn't make me look cross-eyed and fishbowl-faced (me anyway, everybody else always looks fine

I would say you are a 2b with some 3a in there too! You have great hair, nice and shiny and the curls looks so soft and frizz free!!

Lisa, your hair is so pretty! Are those your natural highlights? They look so perfect.

You seem to have the same hair as several of us the aaallllmost 3a, but not quite. Which 2 type is mixed in depending on whether you're using the Andre or FIA system I guess. I called mine: 3a minus, till it got labelled "strong wavy"
Do you get ringlets if your hair's longer, or do you know? I have to have humidity for ringlets or else they're just S's. I'll have to post some pics, soon.
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Kimmy!! I'm glad to know that is appears I've gotten my hair type right .

wavymecurly - I think if I had to pic only one group, I'd pick 2B. If the conditions are right, if the stars are in alignment and if I hold my mouth just right, it'll look very 3A . I usually do have nice little ringlets - underneath where no one sees them. At my age, almost 48, I probably won't grow it much past what it is in the pics. Plus, I feel it drags my face down if it gets much longer than it is.

The camera threw alot of red on my hair (it's naturally dark brown), and I do get it highlighted. In real life I get called blondie by my boss . My former stepdaughter works at Ulta and we went a little blonder with the highlights this time as no one noticed the highlighting last time!

Thanks for the compliments, ladies!

Lisa - I'm finding the same thing with my length. I love having long hair, but I find it looks better (thicker, in my case) if it's just below shoulder length as opposed to mid-back.

I've got to start taking my saw palmetto supplements again - these past 2 weeks have been awful as far as shedding goes. It seems like I've lost *handfuls* of hair. I think my hormones are out of whack right now (I guess turning 50 will do that to you, lol)....

My husband freaks everytime I talk about cutting my hair - he'd love me to grow it out, but it seems like my hair just gets wispy if I try to let it grow longer. Although, I haven't really tried since going full/modified CG.

Hmmm .... saw palmetto helps hair??? I've been taking a few vitamins (the normal stuff) and added biotin a couple of weeks ago on a recommendation from somewhere here to help with hair growth. Maybe saw palmetto is what I need, though, as I sometimes see I'm losing lots of hair. My hormones are a bit out of whack as well
