I need some product suggestions

Ok, here's my deal. I have to wash my hair a few times a week. The CG routines do not work for me. My hair gets weighed down and very oily. Also most condish weighs down my hair. So when I use my very gentle poo (currently Avalon organics nurishing shampoo) my hair stays so oily I can get away with no condish. (I only condish a lot when I want to straighten) I do not use cones because they straighten out my hair and makes it very silky and smooth.

Here's what I'm thinking. I could try a very light condish or I was thinking of getting a spray leave in that I could put on my hair when It dries as a way of combating frizz. For second day hair, I slept with my hair in a pineapple and then scrunch with a mixture of gel and condish which was kind of cool.

Anyone else have this issue? Any product suggestions?
My hair is a mix of 2b/3a and even a bit of 3b thrown in! I would call my hair wavycelli. It curls most when I leave it alone after wet scrunching. My hair has a spring factor of about 2 or 3 inches and has a very silky, medium texture.
I used to use ouidad botanical boost leave in. Currently using 1/2 water & 1/2 aloeba in small spray bottle under my gel. I guess if you don't need to condition, then don't! Experiment. Good luck
Modified CG since 9/03. 2B/3A. JESSICURL!!! Gentle Poo, Aloeba, Gelebration, Awe; or Mop Top Poo & Condish; Curlisto Mousse & Gel I. Winter: Elucence MB Clarify, Shampoo & Conditioner. ACV & honey rinses. Plop & Pixiecurl diffuse. Password: curls
Aloeba was the first thing that came to mind, it's light enough that it probably wouldn't weigh your hair down, or try mixing a small batch of it with water like cunninghamair suggested. Gelebration is a lighter version of RR, so you might consider that to use as a curl enhancer.

I'm thinking Aloeba too! It's moisturizing but very light so would probably be good for you. Gelebration is a light curl enhancer like Lush said so I bet that would be nice for you to use too under your gel.

If you do mix anything with water, mix it per use only. Jess from Jessicurl warned us about doing that in batches (or in the bottles) before because the preservatives are pre measured per bottle so if you alter the mix of the whole bottle in any way, it can throw the preservatives amount off and grow bacteria. That would be bad!
2b/3a, primarily use Jessicurl and DevaCurl products, Curls Hair Tea conditioner and various gels. I'm modified CG-ish since 5/04.

Aveda Shampure conditioner (rinse out) and/or aveda elixir leave in conditioner. Both are very light ans easily available in salons.

Wow, consensus! LOL Can I easily find this stuff do I have to order it?

I do have to experiment more and I also need a digital camera so I can get you guys pictures!

I got my curl mart order a couple of days ago. I got the Aloeba and the Gelebration. I really like it!

I also tried washing my hair upside down so that I don't straighten out the canopy so much. Yesterday I had this one very clumped coil right by my face!

Does Aloeba = Jessicurl's Aloeba? If so, I've got a trial sample and I think I'm the only one that finds this DOES weigh my hair down. What's up with that?

Me thinks I need to try this some night as a leave-in when I let my hair air dry before going to bed (I don't do products at night).
CG-modified since 4/05
2b/3a and 3b on occasion!
Products: The hair aisle in my own cabinets.
Best definition winner: KCCC
Best volume winner: LOOB
Yeah, I use a very small amount. I need very little conditioning. Also the others had suggested that you can water some down a bit.

LavenderCurls: I forgot to mention that watering down Aloeba might work for you, but, only mix what you are going to use so it doesn't go bad like kimmyc says
