Waves Going Away During Day

I am so frustrated with my hair! This morning I had the best waves I've ever seen after trying a Gelebration & Awe Inspiraling mixture.

Well, as my hair dries it gets straighter and straighter. How can I keep those waves?

Spritz with cg lavendar water or awe in the afternoon and RESCRUNCH. I just give it a fluff from underneath, or flip head upside down and shake. Kimberly does a microfiber washcloth to scrunch--haven't tried that yet.

I have the same problem!!

The waves are lovely and tight spirally when wet, but as it dries they go more and more loose.

Does anyone know why this happens??
And what is that lavender spray reccomended in the above post...?

Yes, I know why. Because our stupid hair is in between straight and curly on the isle of indecision.

I refresh with Awe Inspirraling Spray or Mister Right during the day and rescrunch with my little microfiber washclothe just like cunninghamair said.

Keeping my hands out of my hair really helps with the frizzies. If you are losing a great deal of definition I would recommend layering something over or under Gelebration that either has more curl-hancing properties (I love rockin ringlets but have been partial to re:coil lately) or a stronger hold (my current gels are Angell or Back to Nature Rosemary Mint Clean Gel - on sale at curlmart for 50% off)

I haven't made the lavendar spray in a long time, but I did make it a couple of times. I guess I just didn't that it great enough to keep making, but it's ok. I used the recipe from the CG book. But Have you read that yet WHR?

Didn't know if FPF showed it to you or not.

No, LA- I havent seen the book yet.
I really want to. I thin i am going to make a big order from the CUrl Mart when i get paid. Was thining of the big newbies sort of basket It seem to have everything !!

ANd i just used a non CG friendly shampoo and it is truly poo!

I just wanted to see for myslef if it was really the method or the product and it seems like its both. But the shampoo has made a really obvious difference...
